Who we are
De Tuinboys started in De Pijp. We're a team of young Amsterdammers who believe a tidy outdoor space should be within reach for everyone, without hassle and without long waiting times.
Our approach is simple: direct contact, a fair price and a great result. No big companies or call centres, just us, your neighbourhood and our work. As a gardener for small gardens in Amsterdam we know how to get the most out of limited space. A narrow city garden simply needs a different approach than a large plot. Do you manage an HOA or shared courtyard? We're right at home there too.
We ride cargo bikes through Amsterdam's narrow streets to get to our jobs. Sustainable, fast and typically Amsterdam. Often we're there before a van has even found a parking spot.
"Our dream: multiple Tuinboys crews working in every neighbourhood of Amsterdam."

Do you manage a homeowners' association with a shared outdoor space? De Tuinboys regularly work for HOAs in Amsterdam. We know the challenges of shared spaces and deliver a result all residents are happy with.
Regular maintenance, one-off major clean-ups or anything in between. We'll put together a proposal that fits your situation.

Frequently asked questions
Usually the same day. Send a photo via WhatsApp and we'll reply as quickly as we can with a clear quote. No forms, no waiting.
We work across all of Amsterdam. From De Pijp to Noord, from Oost to Nieuw-West. Not sure? Just send us a message and we'll let you know if we can come.
One or more photos of your garden, patio or outdoor space. The more we can see, the more accurate the quote. You can also tell us what you'd like done.
Yes, absolutely. We regularly work for HOAs with shared courtyards and outdoor spaces. We'll put together a proposal that fits your situation, including regular maintenance.
No, because every situation is different. A small city garden isn't the same as a large courtyard. Send a photo and we'll send you a fair, tailored price.
Yes. We help you just as easily in English as in Dutch. Many of our customers in Amsterdam are expats. The whole process, from quote to appointment, can be handled in English.
Absolutely. Small outdoor spaces are exactly our speciality. Balconies, roof terraces and narrow city gardens are what we do most. We travel by cargo bike, so a hard-to-reach address in the city centre is no problem.
Often within a week, sometimes sooner. Spring is busier, so plan a bit further ahead then. Send us a message on WhatsApp and we'll tell you straight away when we can come.
We charge per job, not per hour, and you know the price in advance. Materials and removal of green waste are included. Because every outdoor space differs in size and condition, we don't publish standard prices. Send a photo via WhatsApp and you'll usually get a tailored price the same day.
Briefly tell us what you need. You finish in WhatsApp, where you can attach a photo right away. A reply the same day.
